Eschew.

Hand me the keys
I’ll take the lead,
tell me what it is
that you truly need.
I can close doors,
I can lock out the light,
I’m perfectly capable
of doing what’s right.

    1. Lol yeah personally I’m not good at relinquishing control. The poem is about life’s deliberators, they drive me insane, i’m happy to make the choices for them if they’re too scared to 🙂

      1. I’m learning that only the most important choices are worth anguishing over even a little bit. Otherwise, just think and go with it. Too much life is wasted trying to figure out if such and such might happen that you never live.

      2. Indeed. The older I get the more I realize that I’ve wasted so many opportunities to just live. I don’t want to do that anymore.

      3. Regrets…our last thoughts as we die! I think I’ve reached a point in my life where I fear not saying/doing more than I fear doing it, decisions in life have to be made and sometimes it’s simply fear that stops us 🙂
