Thunderstorm.

Storm clouds hung heavy throughout the day,
promising a cooler air, a clearer front.
The hinted promises that only a storm can bring.
Night fell and skies darkened,
flashes illuminating the flaws of existence.
Roaring anger filling the empty spaces.
Each lightening strike lit the skies,
tinted thoughts dispersing into the atmosphere,
Each deep clap of thunder energising the skies
as empty spaces become filled.
Till the storm passed
and clouds dispersed
and all I could see was a clear sky of twinkling stars

    1. Thank you Eric, it was a very surreal kinda storm, outside was thunder (I that thunder) but I was also having a discussion with someone and was feeling angry, as the storm passed my anger passed, then I looked outside and saw clear skies and stars it’s been a while since I saw the stars. I hope you are at the very least surviving at the moment, those clear skies will come.

      1. You’re very welcome. Surviving is the best way to put it. Glad you got to see stars 🙂
