I wear a layer of you across my
mind, intricate patterns, vivid
colours, divine scents and
a lover’s lust, entwined with
red lace, silk ribbons and sinful
ropes. Some days I am sure
they are drowning, suffocating,
yet breathing and truly living.
I watch the seconds pass as
depth deepens, truth enlightens
and love weaves a lustrous
web about my broken soul.

Image and words

Jasmine scent.

Desire wakes on me like a second skin

where once I searched the words

they now lay within.

I try washing it away, warm water

and lathered soap, a hint of jasmine.

Desire remains long after the scent

has gone returning like tarnished tin.

I try releasing, it returns stronger.

and like the perfect glove, I just slip in.

Chaos theory in bloom.

image

Lilies of white,
Fear and fright.

Roses of red,
lust fuelled bed.

Violets of blue,
Thoughts that are true.

Beautiful,
yellow sun flowers,
Strength,
transformation
and power.

I fill my dreams with all of these,
And buzzing bees,
With the colour of life,
That blurs the strife.
The universe essence,
Always in my presence.
Reminding me of lessons,
Of the past,
That went so very fast.
Of the present,
that is truly a blessing.
And
Of the
Future,
Writing itself
As we speak,
No way to peek,
Or
Even know if it’s
What
We truly
Seek.
All along the
Way
Fresh colours
Bloom,
Beneath a powerful
Moon.
Transformation and change,
Are all within range,
it feels strange,
And good,
Like an over read
Book.
