Has never been certain
if 5am belongs to the night
and his shadows.
A tinker, fixing the broken fragments
of my mind that shatter
on impact of thought…

… Or if it belongs
to peace of mind on morning
song bird, a symphony
of love before reality
takes another bite.

I wonder does it even matter
A moment between the worlds
the sun is yet to rise
so I sit talking to grey
melancholy skies…

Silence engulfs me…

Selene, do you catch the broken
fragments of my thoughts,
reminiscent echoes
of ancient days frozen
in the paths of time.
My soul has aged in
days gone past
twilight has become
my refuge.
The ungodly hour of devils fun
is scarred upon my wings
in mottled greys
of solitude.
Shhh, do you hear
the way my heart beats?
A broken rhythm
perhaps, or maybe just a forgotten
hum…

When twilight knows my name…

Where are you when the twilight hour is upon me? Darkness lingers across my skin where your fingers trailed, dreams within. No illumination marks my sky,
Droplets of my love are carried on Selene’s tears as she spills moon beams across your night calling to you in sleeps lullaby.
For a moment, a mere wisp of time we share sleeps quarters, we traverse between the worlds, fingering the thin veil of hope… Perhaps we can share the same dream. Sit here upon this log, beneath sun filled skies and watch the horizon spreading hues of our essence wide across the universe…

Selene, be my light within my dark

Selene, are you here
for the whispers
of my waning soul?
As I slept beneath
your pearlescent beads
did you shroud
me from sight?
If I sit now and stare
upon your face
in the infinite depth
of darkness,
will you kiss me,
caress me, leave a
sheen of your energy
flowing through me?
As I wane will
you catch me…

Will you dance with me beneath a twilight moon?

Photo

Will you dance with me
For just a while
Beneath pale night skies
And a moons slither.

Will you for a moment?
Entwine words and worlds
Whilst we slow dance
Till the stars arrive.

Fingers curled through
fingers, hair gently dancing
with the Jasmine breeze
As last rays kiss my cheek.

Will you dance with me
For just a while.
